Potamitis | Nicolaou Architects was founded by Zenon N. Potamitis & Eleni Nicolaou, the two senior architects, who have been collectively established in Cyprus since 1998 following their education and training in the U.K., Cyprus and Spain. Our portfolio of work includes a variety of projects (new-build and refurbishments) such as residential (developments and private homes), commercial, offices, hospitality, tourist developments, heritage buildings, medical facilities and furniture design. The scope of our projects ranges from small scale refurbishments to large scale developments and complexes, situated in diverse locations such as densely populated urban areas, commercial and industrial sites, prestigious residential areas, villages, architectural heritage sites and agricultural areas all over Cyprus. The client’s requirements and budget determine the essential parameters to their designs. Initial meetings with clients are primarily spent discussing and assessing their ideas as to how they will utilize their building and what the most important aspects of the designs should be. They in turn assess all this information and incorporate it into their design brief and initial concept designs. Their strength as designers is based on their sensitivity to the clients’ needs and capabilities, attention to detail, careful selection of collaborators and respect of all involved in the project, including the other consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers and above all, the client.
